We got married in Basking Ridge in August 2026 and hosted a welcome event the night before at Chef Fredy’s Table with about 40 people. We had a semi-private event with about half the restaurant blocked off for us with a salad & charcuterie station and passed hors d'oeuvre. The team was really easy to work with throughout the process. They took care of ordering wine and beer from a nearby liquor store and set up a bar to serve. The pricing was very similar to other restaurants we looked at in the area. The event ran really smoothly and the food was delicious - the filet mignon and brie in particular got amazing reviews, as did the crab cakes. We had a guest with really complex allergies and the kitchen made her a special meal to accommodate her. Everyone had an amazing time and we will definitely be back! I’d highly recommend Chef Fredy’s Table to anyone planning a similar event.

We dine out several times a week and try many new places, but we keep coming back here, and for very good reason. Delicious flavors, each dish is a treat for your taste buds. The presentation is impeccable, and the service unmatched! A truly family owned and run restaurant. Their passion and dedication to their craft really shines through. Not just amazing restaurateurs, but great people!

On a Sunday, we visited the restaurant and found it to be quite quiet, with only two other tables occupied. The restaurant is BYOB. We were more impressed with the appetizers than with the main courses. The tuna tartare was particularly noteworthy, with a subtle spice and a complementary hoisin flavor. The Caesar salad was also satisfactory. However, the chicken pasta dish was overly flavored with basil, and the chicken was overcooked. The pork dish lacked the wow factor, despite its visually appealing presentation. The dessert was adequate, with the crème brûlée being a preferable choice over the bomba. This was our first visit to the restaurant, and we were pleasantly surprised by the friendly and attentive service provided by the staff.

Fantastic food! We had the pork chop and duck breast and both were fantastic. We also loved the calamari. BYOB was nice and they brought us a bucket to keep our rose cold. Only dock is we wished our waiter was more attentive, for such a nice setting he did the bare minimum, didn't check to see how our food turned out out, and we had to signal him down for the check.

Really great meal. Sunday after valentines day. Appetizer ribs sooo good tender falling off bone wait staff attentive brought wet cloth napkins to clean up after. Impressed with attention to diners then surf and turf. Best lobster tail I've ever had. Cooked perfectly soft and tasty not a chewy bite imo hard to do but was so good filet again cooked to order but the tail was star..wife had jambalaya which was equally incredible and another visual beauty.. thank you for a great experience
